MARUKAI CORPORATION U.S.A. was established in 1965 by MARUKAI CORPORATION in Osaka (1-18-5 Nishi-ku Kyomachibori, Osaka, Japan). Marukai Corporation USA, located in Southern California and Hawaii, imports many varieties of Japanese products, such as foods, goods, furniture, health food items, and appliances.

In 1982, Membership Marukai Wholesale Mart opened in Gardena, California, as the first Japanese reseller store. Marukai Wholesale Mart started providing more than 10,000 Japanese products at wholesale prices for members with the motto, "Pursuing superior qualities and prices."
